¿QUE WHAT? is a weblog about me – Alex Diaz. I am the worship and creative arts pastor at a church called The Pursuit Christian Church, located in Miramar, Florida. Here’s a few more things to know about me…

- I am a struggling follower of Jesus Christ. I am not perfect in any way shape or form. He is.

- I am originally from Venezuela (not Minnesota!)

- I attended Cincinnati Christian University for my undergrad as a transfer student. I used to be in law-school before that. I’m glad I switched!

- I love my Rice Krispies in the morning.

- I am completely aware that I married up.

- 1st coffee of the day: espresso. 2nd coffee of the day: latte. 3rd coffee of the day: Double shot Mocha with non-fat milk.

- My first electric guitar was named Kimberly (after the Pink Power Ranger). I didn’t like the show though, just the moves!

- I once played before a crowd of 5000. I got four thumbs up! Thanks mom and dad!

- Things I Tivo: Friends, 24, The Amazing Race, Man v. Wild, American Idol, According to Jim.

- I love The Matrix trilogy.

- I am somewhat aware that I am a geek.

- And I like it!

- The name ¿QUE WHAT? came from a sticker we found in North Carolina once, and we thought it reflected both our cultures and personalities well. I want to reflect that in this blog somehow, so be aware that I will write in Spanish sometimes!

- I don’t really consider myself someone important. I consider Jesus Christ the most important person and the purpose of my life. The second most important person in my life is my wife Erin.
